The Work Groups research issues and draft position statements for review and approval by the faith leaders of the AFC. They also identify educational resources for faith leaders and congregations. Work groups are made up of clergy and laypersons, and they are open to anyone interested in addressing the issues. While the primary focus will be on issues affecting the state of Alabama, many of them overflow into regional, national, and global struggles.
